Understanding Your Choices and Our Privacy Practices

This plain-language overview helps explain the existing Privacy Policy without replacing its terms or introducing new data-handling promises.

Information involved in everyday visits

When you open the website, the service may receive technical information needed to provide pages and keep the shopping experience functioning. If you choose to contact support or join the Club, you provide additional information such as an email address or the contents of a message.

Data associated with an actual purchase can include order details and billing-related information. The Privacy Policy explains these categories and their uses. You should avoid entering information in ordinary forms that is unrelated to the request you are making.

Session recording and typed input masking

The store uses first-party analytics to understand how pages are used and to diagnose problems. Session recording is currently enabled with typed inputs masked, including form-entered values. This setting is intended to reduce exposure of personal information while preserving useful information about how visitors navigate the site.

The policy above describes session-recording retention and the relationship between recording and consent or browser preferences. Technical masking does not replace a careful privacy practice, and you should never send card details or passwords through a general contact message.

Email updates and communication preferences

Joining the Gift Library Club is a separate action from browsing product descriptions. It is intended to let you receive announcements about future design releases and other relevant updates. The policy describes the marketing email choices and how unsubscribing works.

If you are unsure whether a page is asking for a newsletter signup or an order-related email, read the surrounding explanation before submitting. The Club page now states that joining does not automatically deliver unreleased free-design packages.

Questions, corrections and requests

Depending on applicable law, visitors may have rights to request access, corrections, deletion or other action concerning their information. The Privacy Policy identifies how to contact the store about those matters.

Use the Contact page for general questions, but avoid exposing additional sensitive details in an initial message. A support representative can explain which information is actually needed for a specific privacy request.

Reading privacy information in context

A privacy page does not need to be read in isolation. The Delivery Policy describes the information needed for email delivery, and the Terms describe the website's permitted uses.

Card payments are processed by Stripe, so Gift Libraries never sees or stores your full card number, and the email address entered at checkout is used to send your files. If these practices change, the published policy will be updated so it continues to reflect actual processing.

A sensible approach to sharing information

Ordinary website forms need only the information relevant to their purpose. A Club signup may ask for an email address, while a support request may ask for an order reference and a description of the problem. Neither is an appropriate place to share passwords, full card numbers or verification codes.

If you provide a photograph or personal detail for a future creative feature, take time to understand how it will be used and stored. The creator is not currently available, and any future data collection should be reflected accurately in updated privacy notices before that feature launches.

How privacy information relates to store features

Payment processing, analytics, newsletter updates and digital-file delivery serve different purposes. Card payments and file delivery apply when you place an order, while newsletter updates apply only if you join the Club. The policy above describes categories of information and the conditions that apply where those services are used.

A visitor can consult Club for mailing-list information, Delivery for order-email expectations and Contact Us for questions about personal information. These explanations supplement, rather than replace, the published Privacy Policy.
