Understanding Digital Delivery

These explanations supplement the Delivery Policy above. The policy text remains the controlling statement of delivery terms.

Digital files versus physical shipping

A printable gift design is a digital product. Buying one does not mean a courier delivers printed cards, envelopes, frames or paper supplies. Instead, once payment is confirmed, the purchased files are sent by email to the address entered at checkout. You decide whether to print it at home or use a local print shop.

This difference affects planning. You will not receive a shipping tracking number or delivery-day appointment for a digital design. You may still want to leave time for your own printing, trimming or framing, particularly when preparing a gift for a specific occasion.

Preparing for an email delivery

The email address entered at checkout is important because it identifies where the file or download link will be sent. Before confirming an order, check the spelling and the inbox you intend to use. If the address changes or was typed incorrectly, contact support with the order number and corrected details.

Spam filtering is another common source of confusion. When expecting a digital order, check junk, spam and promotions folders in addition to the main inbox. If you received an order confirmation but no file, preserve that confirmation; it gives support a useful reference.

What a processing window means

The Delivery Policy describes files as usually sent within minutes and within one business day after payment. That is the stated service target, not a transit estimate. Monday-to-Friday business-day definitions and holiday exclusions are set out in the policy text above.

You pay by card at checkout, and card payments are processed securely by Stripe; Gift Libraries never sees or stores your full card number. Your files are then emailed to you rather than downloaded from the product page. If they haven't arrived within 1 business day, contact support with your order number and they will be resent.

Using a file once received

Save the original digital file in a clearly named folder so it is easy to find. A printable design may be supplied in PDF or image format, depending on the product's final package. Review the individual listing for the included items and formats, rather than assuming every bundle arrives in the same format.

Print a single test copy first. Check page size, scaling and colour on your chosen printer. The FAQ explains general printing questions, while the Terms of Service describe the permitted personal-use licence.

If something goes wrong

If the stated delivery window has passed and the files have not arrived, follow the procedure in the policy above. Send support the order number, affected product and email address used for the order. Do not send payment card details, passwords or other sensitive credentials.

For an incorrect, faulty or undelivered file, the Refund Policy describes the 14-day request window and available remedies. You can submit a question through the Contact page.

Plan for the physical finishing work

Digital delivery removes the wait for a courier, but it does not remove the time involved in preparing a finished printed gift. Paper selection, test printing, trimming, folding, framing or packaging may all be separate steps. If you are preparing a gift for a specific date, account for those tasks before relying on a last-minute download.

A local print shop can advise on suitable output sizes and turnaround times. That service is chosen and paid for separately by the customer unless the individual product page expressly says otherwise. The Delivery Policy above remains the binding description of how the store delivers your files.

Keep your order details organised

After ordering, retain the order confirmation and know which email address was used. That information can help support find a missing or incorrect delivery. Keep the downloaded original file in a separate folder so you can make authorised personal-use copies without accidentally overwriting it.

If the files you receive are faulty, wrong or never arrive, contact support within 14 days of purchase for a replacement or a full refund. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 2 business days, as set out in the Refund Policy.
