A Plain-Language Guide to Using Gift Libraries Designs

This guide offers practical examples alongside the Terms of Service. The legal terms above, not the examples below, govern purchases and permitted uses.

Personal use of printable artwork

Digital printable artwork is intended for specified personal uses. The licence above allows printing copies for yourself, family and friends, including printed items you give as gifts. A printable birthday card for a relative or a thank-you note for a friend illustrates the type of everyday use described.

Owning a digital file is different from owning the copyright in its artwork. The original design remains protected by the stated licence, which explains why you cannot treat an electronic copy as stock art available to redistribute freely.

Sharing printed gifts is not sharing files

Giving someone a printed card or keepsake is not the same as sending the original editable or printable source file to many people. The terms expressly restrict reselling, uploading or redistributing those digital files. If someone likes a design, direct them to the relevant product page rather than passing along the source file.

Similarly, using a design commercially—such as selling printed copies or placing it in merchandise for resale—is different from making a personal gift. Ask the store for clarification before assuming a proposed use is covered.

Checking product details before purchasing

Read the description to identify the particular design bundle and what it includes. Product photographs may demonstrate ideas for styling or use, but props shown in imagery are not automatically included in a digital package. A buyer should not have to infer file formats, design counts or compatibility from photography alone.

Every published premium product has its own listing and price in USD. The Shop guide compares the four bundles by theme, while the FAQ addresses practical questions about printing, orders and delivery.

Personalized text and photographs

The terms describe responsibility for any names, messages or images a customer provides for personalization. In ordinary use, that means checking you have permission to use photographs and that the words you submit do not misuse someone else's private information or protected materials.

The online personalized gift creator is not live yet, but the creator preview offers planning ideas. When the feature launches, its instructions should explain any additional submission requirements clearly.

What happens when an order has a problem

The Delivery Policy explains digital delivery expectations, and the Refund Policy covers eligible complaints within its stated window. If you believe you received the wrong item or a faulty file, document the issue and contact support promptly.

You pay by card at checkout, and card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, your files are emailed to the address entered at checkout, usually within minutes and at the latest within 1 business day.

Examples of intended personal gifting

A printed greeting card for a friend, a card placed beside a birthday present or a family keepsake displayed privately are examples of the kinds of personal projects described by the licence. The fact that a design is supplied digitally does not make its source artwork free for anyone to copy or distribute.

For a larger event or a commercial project, consider whether your intended use still counts as personal under the actual licence wording. Selling finished prints, redistributing templates and uploading source files require different rights from making an individual personal gift.

Read listings and policies together

The product description explains what the particular digital package purports to include. The Delivery Policy describes how files are delivered by email, the Refund Policy describes eligible remedies, and these Terms of Service govern use of the artwork and store. Reading them together can prevent misunderstandings about formats, printing materials or permissions.

Browsing a listed product or adding it to a cart is not a purchase; your files are emailed once payment is confirmed at checkout. If an essential detail is unclear, contact support before making plans that rely on it.
